Welcome to Wild Escapes, our eco-friendly glamping site is set amid the beautiful Cheshire countryside. This idyllic space is all you need to get total peace, tranquillity and be surrounded by nature with spectacular views across our three lakes. On the outskirts of Wrenbury village and on the Llangollen canal, our spacious cabins and shepherd's hut will provide you with the perfect glamping experience.
All cabins come with a firepit and outdoor seating, kitchen and bathroom area. We are dog friendly and able to welcome adults and children aged 12 and over.
The lakes are well stocked with fish including, Tench, Bream, Grass and Crucian Carp, fishing is encouraged as long as anything caught is returned to the water.
Wrenbury can be accessed either by a 5 minute drive, or a 20 minute walk along the canal. The historic town of Nantwich and the Cheshire Sandstone Trail are both a short drive away, and both Chester and Shrewsbury are slightly further afield.

Perfect for a picnic
We have three lakes to choose from, all exclusively available to our guests. The largest lake has Grass Carp, Tench, Mirror and Common Carp, it is up to 20ft deep in places with some shallower shelves. The central lake has mainly Common and Mirror Carp it is also a good depth, and the smallest lake by Willow Cabin, has more silver fish and Crucian Carp, for something a little different.
We recommend maggots as the most suitable bait to use, corn has also proved to be successful with previous guests.
Fishing is available at any time of the day and night, as long as our other guests are not being disturbed. All we ask is that you please use barbless hooks and that anything caught is returned to the water.

| Cabins are insulated and come with a small gas heater, blankets and hot water bottle. |
| All accommodation has lighting but no electric sockets; please bring power banks if you need to charge mobile phones, lighting runs from a battery and will be full when you arrive but if lights are left on for excessive periods it may run flat. |
| Fishing in our lakes is permitted as long as anything caught is returned to the water, no holding nets or ground bait and please use barbless hooks. |
| Smoking is permitted outside only. |
| Dogs are welcome in Willow and Kingfisher cabins. |
| Life rings are provided for emergencies. |
| Wild Escapes is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 as our lakes are not fenced, under 18's must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. |
